Workshops

Material Science

We will start the summer school with an intensive day on material science.

Theory Classes

Theory classes will give detailed information, present different insights and allow discussions about challenges of sustainable architecture.

Martin Rauch - rammed earth in central Europe

 

The topics below will be discussed in small focus groups. Each participant can choose two out of four subjects.

 

Helmut Krapmeier - energy efficiency of earth and straw buildings

Günter Langergraber - sustainable wastewater treatment

Friedbert Ottacher - project management in development cooperation

Peer Lectures

In the evenings we give the stage to the participants, to present their projects, to discuss and for networking.

 

Fieldtrip

In a fieldtrip we will visit the open air museum Stübing, where more than 80 historical buildings from all over Austria are exposed.

 

Who wants a day off, can use this day.
